We are now seeking a Head of Business Development to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis, working 40 hours per week.

The Role

As our Head of Business Development, you will drive our business development efforts, heading up our BD Department and taking ownership of our product.

Owning our unique, multi-pronged ‘Firechief® 8-Step BatterySafe HaloTM' product, you'll hit the ground running and drive growth across the portfolio.

You'll lead the direction and expansion of the department and drive us into unexplored markets, identifying new opportunities and targeting big wins.

You'll spend Mondays and Fridays in the office nurturing potential leads, and the rest of your week out on the road, engaging with clients face-to-face and building relationships.

Additionally, you will:

  • Follow up on an extensive database of hot leads and warm leads
  • Establish positive working relationships amongst a diverse network of prospects
  • Engage with clients face-to-face and over the phone to accelerate the growth of our specialist product range

About You

To be considered as our Head of Business Development, you will need:

  • Face to face and e-comms sales experience
  • Experience bypassing gatekeeps to build relationships and acquire sales
  • Experience of confidently engaging with C-suite level contacts
  • Experience managing sales administration
  • A good telephone manner, alongside great interpersonal and communication skills
  • To be comfortable presenting to large companies and key stakeholders
  • Great selling and negotiating skills
  • A high level of IT proficiency including VRMs and CRM systems
