L ocation: Reading, Berkshire
Salary : £29k-£30k, overtime available, bonus
Benefits: 22 days holiday + Bank holidays.

Syntech Recruitment are currently working with an exciting automotive company that are looking for an experienced Assembly Technician
to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding organisation and really develop your skills and career. You will ideally
come from an automotive background and have the ability to learn and carry out tasks as required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Primarily working within the assembly areas of workshop:
- Creating hose-assemblies, using full range of hose-types & fittings-systems, swaging & crimping.
- Assembling quick-disconnect (QD) couplings, valves & other products
- Working collaboratively with the Lead Workshop Technicians & the Account Managers to ensure your assembly work fulfils customer & internal requirements.
- Ensuring the assembly workshop areas remains tidy.
- Gain understanding & appreciation of all other workshop processes
- Working within the other workshop areas as and when deemed necessary.
- Having a positive attitude to undertaking other workshop activities when needed is important.
- Ensuring all activities are carried out in line with Company QA Procedures.

- Must have engineering workshop experience involving accurate assembly
- Able to interrogate engineering drawings and instructions
- Prove you can solve problems and overcome irregularities
- Complete work quickly and efficiently
- Be a team player
- Results focused and a good communicator
- Positive attitude
