Due to continued success, I have a great opportunity for a highly skilled WMS Application Specialist to be responsible for the configuration of the Manhattan platform used by client across the UK and Ireland.
You would be reporting to the Deployment Manager with the aim being for you to ensure that the Manhattan environments are configured, maintained, and where necessary enhanced, in order to ensure continuous functionality across our business; a level of testing, training, and early life support will also be required during the delivery of new projects.
The role is homebased with the requirement to travel to sites for projects.
Day to day duties include:
- Create and execute a set of daily / weekly / monthly tasks that will keep the Manhattan environments running efficiently and healthily.
- Provide accurate work estimates to the IT Deployment Manager when required.
- Input into design documentation to support small change projects.
- Perform configuration and maintenance of all Manhattan WMoS versions
- Maintain a configuration matrix for all dev, test, cert & prod environments.
- Perform quarterly site visits
- Attend project meetings with project teams and suppliers to review progress and agree future actions.
Essential skills/ experience needed:
- Manhattan Associates WMS configuration experience (platform desirable)
- PL/SQL, Oracle, FTP, HTTP, TCP/IP experience
- Good understanding of warehouse operations
- Excellent communications skills
- Logical thinking & problem-solving ability
- Experience of automated warehousing (desirable)
- Experience of 3PL Integration (desirable)
