Simple Recruitment are delighted to be working with a specialist, dynamic client, based in Frome, who are looking for an Accounts and Office Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.

Located in the scenic town of Frome which is well-known for its cultural vibe and widespread independent enterprises, our client operates within a niche area of the manufacturing sector that directly impacts the environment for the better.

The Job
As an Accounts and Office Administrator, you will be responsible for the daily management of stock data while maintaining and updating accounts records. The successful candidate will provide essential support to ensure the smooth operation of financial matters within our client's company.

  • Generating sales invoices for customers.
  • Processing supplier invoices, and assisting in processing records, receipts, and expenses.
  • Carrying out credit control and following up on overdue accounts.
  • Preparing and submitting monthly statements to customers.
  • Providing administrative support, such as updating price lists and data entry.
  • Assisting the customer service team during busy periods, such as order processing, telephone inquiries, and greeting showroom visitors.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience within an administration and accounts setting.
  • Strong attention-to-detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Please note, you will need to drive to the office location and cannot access it via public transport.

Salary:
From £25,000 per annum (dependant on experience).

Hours:
8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday.
8.30am to 5.00pm, Fridays.
Occasional Saturdays (approx. 1 in 7) 9.00am to 12.00pm.
