They offer a company van and iPhone to all our their field-based engineers.
Role:
Parkside Recruitment are seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong emphasis on carpentry to join their clients team. This role involves working at various sites across London, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have extensive carpentry experience and be able to handle a variety of maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform carpentry tasks, including
- Lock repairs
- Door closers
- Kitchen unit repairs
- Flooring and fence timber repairs
- Installations and refits
- Carry out reactive and planned preventative maintenance work.
- Conduct fault-finding and leak investigations.
- Manage and oversee larger projects.
- Provide excellent customer service and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations.
- Complete necessary reports and paperwork.
- Procure materials and equipment as needed.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualifications: A qualification in carpentry or a related trade is essential. CSCS Card or NVQ in a relevant trade is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a carpentry-focused maintenance role.
- Skills: Strong carpentry skills with experience in other trades (plumbing, decorating, etc.). Excellent communication, timekeeping, and customer service.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in carpentry with good fault-finding and leak investigation skills.
- Other Requirements: Full clean UK driving license (minimum 5 years) and eligibility to live and work in the UK.
