A school in the Leeds area are looking for a Year 5 teacher to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.
Primary School Teacher
Location: Leeds
Hours: 8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.
Salary: GBP140 - GBP180 per day, depending on experience
MUST HAVE QTS.

Job description:
Planning and delivering your own lessons in line with the current curriculum.
Monitoring pupils development in line with individual targets.
Managing and reporting behaviours or incidents in a professional manner.
Develop and adapt teaching methods to enhance each pupils learning potential.
To mark and assess class and homework.
Liaise with staff members and parents respectfully and professionally.
Requirements:
Experience teaching upper or lower KS1 pupils.
Be able to effectively communicate with staff and parents.
Liaise with safeguarding team professionally and accordingly.
Have a genuine passion for motivating and developing pupils learning.
Be able to work full time during term time.
Mark pupils work and set relevant targets.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years.
