Tech Ops Analyst II have the foundational knowledge to deliver and support to contribute to Operational process & services in their area / domain with general guidance. They work to support other Analysts & demonstrate situational leadership and engineering mindset. They exhibit written & verbal interpersonal skills to interact with global business partners & customers. Analysts demonstrate intermediate experience in their area / domain.
General Description:
- Completes & contributes to IT Operations tasks under general guidance possibly including installation, migration, or updates of IT Services
- Respond to, identify, and troubleshoot issues current IT Operations hardware, software, or process using ticket logging system.
- May configure and maintain systems and monitoring tools and proactively respond to problems that may occur
- Collaborates with Global partners to support business operations
- Contribute technical & process documentation (user guides, knowledge articles)
- Supports providing communication & training to Global business partners
- Provides recommendations for continuous improvement
- Responsible for achieving operational stability for IT Operations area / domain
Assists in implementing best practice to support new / changed IT Services / processes at a low level of complexity
- Adheres to Sarbanes Oxley compliance and all TJX Company standards as applicable
- Performs other duties as assigned
Strategy & Best Practice:
- Actively leverages IT Operations process definitions, best practices and standards
- Actively participates in process definitions, best practices and standards
- Can contribute to overseeing evaluation of 3rd party engagement delivery
Talent Development & Evangilizing:
- Helps training/onboard new hires into Specialist I, II roles
- Learns and demonstrates culture
- Contributes to driving adoption for area/domain
Subject Matter Expert:
- Partners with team to achieve subject matter expertise in area/domain
- Develops knowledge in specific area/domain
- Provides technical subject matter expertise and insight related to the specific area/domain
