Data Privacy Program Manager

£70,000 to £85,000
A top global consultancy firm specialising in digital transformation is expanding its data privacy capabilities and seeking a Data Privacy Program Manager. In this role, you'll oversee critical data privacy projects and collaborate with legal and IT teams to ensure compliance with evolving regulations
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and update data privacy policies and procedures.
- Lead risk assessments and privacy impact analyses to identify and manage data privacy risks.
- Oversee projects related to data privacy compliance, including data breach planning, employee training, and data retention.
- Collaborate with legal, IT, and cross-functional teams to ensure robust privacy compliance and keep policies updated with evolving regulations.
- Manage and respond to data subject access requests (DSARs) in accordance with legal requirements.
The successful candidate should have the following core competencies and skills
- Strong foundation in data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA) with excellent project management skills.
- Proven communication and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for translating complex privacy requirements.
- Technical awareness and preferred certifications (CIPP/CIPM), plus experience in regulated industries (especially CPG).
- Prior experience in program / project management
Role is based in London and offers a hybrid working environment (2 days in the office / 3 day working from home)
