Summary

The SharePoint Online and O365 Teams/OneDrive Technical Administrator will lead the administration and configuration of SharePoint Online and Teams environments, focusing on site management, user access control, content governance ensuring the security of the environment. This role demands an experienced Enterprise Engineer with a strong background in Windows Server, VMware, and SAN Storage and managing a Windows domain. The candidate will implement solutions that meet business requirements and align with best practices, provide technical guidance and support team members, foster knowledge sharing and skill development, and produce technical support documentation to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. SharePoint Online Administration:

  • Lead the administration and configuration of SharePoint Online environments.
  • Manage site collections, libraries, lists, permissions, and workflows.
  • Implement and enforce content governance policies.
  • Ensure security compliance with business requirements and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for SharePoint Online.

2. Office 365 Teams and OneDrive Administration:

  • Configure and manage Teams environments, including channels, groups, and integrations.
  • Administer OneDrive for Business, ensuring proper user access and data management.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Teams and OneDrive performance and issues.
  • Implement policies for data retention, sharing, and security.

3. Technical Leadership and Support:

  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
  • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.
  • Lead technical training sessions and workshops.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes.

4. Documentation and Process Improvement:

  • Produce comprehensive technical support documentation.
  • Develop and document operational procedures and best practices.
  • Continuously improve processes to enhance system performance and reliability.

Qualifications, Education and Experience:

  • Proven experience in administering SharePoint Online and Office 365 Teams and OneDrive.
  • Technical Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019 administration and Expertise in VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
  • Proficiency in managing SharePoint Online, including site collections, permissions, and workflows.
  • Solid understanding of Office 365 administration, particularly Teams and OneDrive.
  • Strong security and governance focus.
  • Strong experience and skilled with PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Experience in creating and documenting technical support procedures.
