Responsibilities:
- Overall Management: Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring a high standard of care.
- Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, supervise, and support a team of care workers to provide exceptional care.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the care home meets all regulatory requirements and standards set by the CQC and other relevant bodies.
- Financial Management: Oversee the budget and financial performance of the care home, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Risk Management: Conduct regular risk assessments and manage health and safety protocols.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for residents' families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
- Service Development: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and range of care services offered.
- Resident Well-being: Ensure residents' physical, emotional, and social needs are met, promoting a positive living environment.
Qualifications:
- Education: GCSEs or equivalent; NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care preferred.
- Driving License: Full UK Driving License.
- Clearance: Enhanced DBS (on update service).
Experience:
- Previous Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in a care home, with at least 2 years in a management position.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a deep understanding of regulatory compliance.
- Attitude: Empathetic and compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
