Communications Manager

Our client, a membership organisation, is looking to recruit a Communications Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a graduate or equivalent with solid communications experience, outstanding written skills, experience of dealing with the press and preparing press releases, and all round marketing, media and digital experience.

Working as part of a small, friendly team, the role will be very varied and will include:-

  • Developing marketing, media and digital strategies
  • Creating and developing written content and overseeing all external communications - press releases, newsletters, social media and website content
  • Identifying key messages and managing campaigns
  • Producing promotional materials and web content - working with an external design team
  • Overseeing corporate identity and brand communications
  • Acting as the first point of contact with the media, monitoring coverage and providing articles
  • Developing relationships with journalists and member organisations
  • Monitoring media coverage and industry trends, providing insights and reports
