Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Sutton, Greater London
Salary: £425 - 425 per day
Hours: Full-Time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2024
Role Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs in Sutton. The successful candidate will assist in fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Learning: Assist in the educational and social development of pupils.
- Individual Support: Provide one-on-one support and adapt lesson materials.
- Group Activities: Facilitate small group activities.
- Behavioural Support: Implement behaviour management strategies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent). Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable.
- Previous SEN Teaching Assistant experience ideal
- Strong communication, organisational skills, and a caring nature.
- Passion for working with SEN children.
- Positive, proactive, and flexible attitude.
- Commitment to professional development.
