Ideal candidates will possess:
- Experience in assisting young individuals with special educational needs, particularly in the realms of social, emotional, and/or mental health.
- Providing personalised support for personal development.
- Implementing interventions to support academic, behavioural, and social advancement.
- Advocating for individual student progress and well-being.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above in English and Mathematics.
- Relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
Overview of the Role:
- Work with a mixed special school catering to students from Year 4 to Year 11 experiencing social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
- Diagnoses include ADHD, ASC, PTSD, PDA, ODD, and Attachment Disorder.
- Many students have faced disruptions to their education.
- Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives, equipping them for a fulfilling future.
