REED is delighted to be further assisting an expanding, innovative technology business in the Antrim area, in the appointment of a full-time Financial Accountant for a 12-month fixed term contract.

The role
The Financial accountant will ensure accurate accounting and reporting of the group results on a monthly and annual basis. You will be a key part of the Group Reporting team, and work with the FP&A and Financial operations team as they navigate through the continued growth phase of the company.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and analysis to support management decision making
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial accounts including duties ranging from
prepayment / PO accrual posting, loan interest posting, GL account variance analysis etc.
- Analyse financial performance and identify trends to drive performance improvement
- Provide financial insight and analysis to stakeholders across the business
- Prepare and manage financial reporting of the group to various stakeholders on a timely
- basis
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity
- Prepare financial statements and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Manage the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors
- Assist with managing the day-to-day operations of the accounting function liaising with other functions in the finance department
Essential Criteria
- Chartered accountant qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- 1+ years post qualified experience in accounting or finance
- Experience in financial reporting and analysis
- Experience with accounting software and financial systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in a similar role in a technology or software company
- Experience with SAP / SAGE accounting software
