A Management Accountant (HYBRID) is required to join the Accounting & Finance department of a prominent property company. The successful candidate should have proven experience in a similar role and demonstrate a high level of competency in all aspects of accounting.

Description
The Management Accountant (HYBRID) role involves;
- Responsibility for production of Management Accounts, all elements of the Income Statement, Balance Sheet and key reconciliations for the Company;
- Responsibility for producing and running the accounts / accounting entries;
- Matching and processing of invoices to purchase orders;
- Support to the team for subcontractor and supplier payment logistics;
- Day to day responsibility for banking
- Production of weekly and monthly reports to Group Finance;
- Updating monthly profit and cash flow forecasting reports;
- Management of Purchase Orders and ensuring that PO requests are within budget;
- Working alongside members of the team to control monthly forecast spend;
- Completion of internal VAT returns to Group Tax;
- Production of bi-monthly Board papers;
- Completion of year-end processes, including year-end reporting to Group Finance;
- Liaison with internal and external auditors as appropriate;
- Preparation of P11D and PSA submissions;
- Ownership and co-ordination of annual budget process;
- Extensive ad hoc analysis to support proposed land transactions and planning strategies;
- Working closely with Director to maintain the options tracker and ensure any option extensions are completed on time;
- Ensuring returns are correct and submitted to HMRC, as well as completing internal forms for Group Tax;
- Running AML checks for land purchases and options via World Check and The Sanctions List, as well as any other applicable searches;
- Ensure compliance with Group AML requirements and GDPR requirements;
- Build strong relationships with and work closely with Group Finance function;
- Formal reporting into the Finance Director and the Strategic Board;
Profile
A successful Management Accountant (HYBRID) should have:
- Part/Finalist or Fully Qualified professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), or Qualified by Experience (QBE)
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
