Job Description:
As a Dumper Driver (Forward Tipping), you will be responsible for operating dumper trucks to transport materials and equipment around construction sites. Your role is crucial in ensuring efficient site operations and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forward tipping dumpers safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety guidelines and site regulations.
- Transport and distribute materials such as soil, sand, and gravel around the construction site.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on the dumper to ensure it is in optimal working condition.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow and project completion.
- Comply with NRSWA guidelines and ensure all street works are carried out safely and to standard.
- Report any operational issues or equipment malfunctions to the site manager immediately.
- Maintain accurate records of materials transported and work performed.
Requirements:
- Valid forward tipping dumper driver licence.
- NRSWA (New Roads and Street Works Act) certification is mandatory.
- Proven experience in operating forward tipping dumpers on construction sites.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
