We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Insurance Supervisor to support our team, oversee branch operations, and drive business growth. In this role, you will ensure best practices are adhered to, manage the team to success, and explore new business opportunities within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support all departments with insurance-related issues.
- Recruit, train, set action plans, targets, appraise, and manage the performance and development of all team members.
- Prepare and present monthly reports as required.
- Develop strategies to achieve team targets.
- Delegate authority and responsibility with accountability and review.
- Manage and maintain relationships with internal and external clients/customers and suppliers.
- Set an example in commitment, insurance management, administration standards, work ethics, and personal character.
- Responsibly use resources and control expenses to meet budgetary controls.
- Adhere to all organisation policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with all members of the organization, suppliers, and customers.
- Participate in special projects as required.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the organization.
- Promote and arrange marketing and networking events.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent communication, organisational, and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of the UK insurance market.
- Experience in broking or underwriting within insurance.
- Ensure effective control and compliance.
