Great opportunity for a Land Surveyor to work for an established surveying company in the North of England!

My client is seeking a skilled Land Surveyor, with experience working on construction and civil engineering projects, to join their supportive team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive surveys using robotic Total Stations and GNSS receivers.

Key Responsibilities as a Land Surveyor:

  • Establishing and maintaining survey controls, setting out grid lines, levelling, traversing and other land surveying work.
  • Volumetric surveys.
  • Accurately and consistently recording underground assets.
  • Data processing using Auto CAD
  • Ensure that all survey kit is maintained and well kept.
  • Taking responsibility for junior team members.
  • Ensuring that all survey kit is maintained and well kept.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in surveying, construction, or engineering (or equivalent).
  • Ability to show previous experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient with Auto-CAD and the usage of surveying equipment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and surveying records.
  • A full UK driver's license.
