We now have a fantastic opportunity for an Apprentice Dairy Technician to join our team at our Lake District Creamery on a full-time basis for a two year, level 3 apprenticeship programme, starting in September 2024.

The Role

As an Apprentice Dairy Technician, you'll be guided by our experienced operatives, learning all the skills needed to excel in this vital role at our creamery.

You'll get to be part of the magic that goes into making our delicious dairy products as your efforts help to ensure we produce only the finest quality items.

Alongside your daily tasks, you'll complete a Level 3 Food and Drink Process Operator Course at Reaseheath College over two years. Plus, you'll get to attend training sessions and workshops to boost your skills even more.

We will ensure you are trained in all aspects of dairy produce production, including:

- Conducting checks to make sure everything meets our high standards
- Keeping our documentation spot-on
- Ensuring we're always following health and safety rules

About You

To be considered as an Apprentice Dairy Technician, you will need:

- To be qualified to at least level 4 (Grade C) in GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent)
- Good communication skills
- A willingness to learn
- To be over the age of 18 (with the ability to stay away from home for college)

The closing date for this role is 2nd August 2024.
