Robert Half has partnered with a global business to recruit a Finance Manager. This role will support the Head of Finance and liaise with FP&A teams, business services, and external customers. You will be part of a growing business with significant potential. This position does not have any people management responsibilities and will report to the Head of Finance. Salary of up to £65,000 + hybrid working (2 days in the office) + excellent growth opportunities
Responsibilities of the Finance Manager
- Produce key financial analysis as required by senior management.
- Prepare timely and technically accurate contract accounts, including liaising with finance stakeholders.
- Generate contract management accounts and commentary.
- Manage contract month-end processes, budgets, forecasts, and strategic plan templates for submission to the centralised FP&A team.
- Create order book reports to support the above submissions.
- Review central revenue journals and reconcile billed and unbilled revenue.
- Provide input to and support for internal and external audit requirements.
- Produce timely and technically accurate contract-based budget, forecast, and strategic plan reports and presentations for senior management.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified finance professional with proven post-qualification experience.
- Experience working in defence, manufacturing, or a similar industry is advantageous.
- Ability to maintain knowledge of industry and regulatory standards in respect to financial reporting.
