Senior Finance Manager
Salary: 60,000 + car allowance
Location: Bedfordshire
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Finance Manager to join a collaborative team for one of our clients on a permanent basis. This hands-on role will see you with 1 direct report and partnering with Operations Directors and have regular contact with the CFO.
The purpose of the role is to provide financial and commercial support, and identifying opportunities to facilitate growth. With regular interaction with top-tier leadership, your insights and recommendations will drive operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness across the business.
What you'll do:
As a Senior Finance Manager, your role will be pivotal in driving the financial success of the organisation. The responsibilities include:
- Business partnering with internal functions including operations.
- Preparation of timely and accurate management accounts.
- Providing commentary on variances vs. budget.
- Ownership of multiple cost lines ensuring costs are well controlled
- Developing and managing operational budgets.
- Period end reviews with Operations Leadership team
- Proactively providing financial insights and recommendations
- Balance sheet reconciliations, identifying any risks and opportunities
- Develop controls & processes.
What you bring:
As a Senior Finance Manager, you bring a wealth of experience from similar roles in fast-paced environments. You'll be confident to build relationships and challenge where necessary.
- Qualified Account (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a similar role, working in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced excel skills & comfortable working with large datasets
- Strong attention to detail
- Commercial acumen
- Proactive and self-motivated
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
This role offers hybrid work with 2 days per week in the office and is offering a salary of £60,000 + car allowance
