Administrator

We are looking for an Administrator to work in the registration office at Kingswood Civic Centre in Bristol.

Monday to Friday 09:00am - 17:00pm.

This is a contract running from August until January 2025.

Duties will include:

  • General administration duties, dealing with incoming customer calls over the phone and in person.
  • Making appointments for registration of births, deaths and notices of marriage or civil partnership.
  • Extensive use of IT (Microsoft Office and Registration Programmes)
  • Taking payments for ceremonies over the phone.
  • Copy certificates for incoming applications.
  • Register marriages at the register office.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

  • 5 GSCE's or equivalent experience including English and Maths.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office programs to include Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
  • Good organisational and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to follow procedures, policies and organisational frameworks.
  • Some form of administration experience.
  • Must be fluent in English with neat handwriting.
