We are looking for an Administrator to work in the registration office at Kingswood Civic Centre in Bristol.
Monday to Friday 09:00am - 17:00pm.
This is a contract running from August until January 2025.
Duties will include:
- General administration duties, dealing with incoming customer calls over the phone and in person.
- Making appointments for registration of births, deaths and notices of marriage or civil partnership.
- Extensive use of IT (Microsoft Office and Registration Programmes)
- Taking payments for ceremonies over the phone.
- Copy certificates for incoming applications.
- Register marriages at the register office.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
- 5 GSCE's or equivalent experience including English and Maths.
- Competent with Microsoft Office programs to include Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to follow procedures, policies and organisational frameworks.
- Some form of administration experience.
- Must be fluent in English with neat handwriting.
