Description
Assistance with preparation of Group Annual and Interim Financial Statements
Statutory Accounts
Preparation of tax computations, liaising with external advisors and group businesses
Implementing new and / or updated IFRS Accounting standards across the Group
In-depth review, analysis and reporting of the financial performance and metrics of the Group, including variance analysis and KPI analysis, to support strategic decision-making and potential cost reduction and efficiency improvements
In-depth review, analysis and internal assurance of the Group's non-financial data
Involvement in a variety of adhoc projects including assistance with potential acquisitions
Where necessary, producing, implementing and updating Financial control policies and procedures
Profile
A successful Group Accountant should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
