SF Recruitment is proud to partner exclusively with a leading construction business based in Birmingham. Our client is seeking a dedicated and proactive HR Assistant to join their dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone looking to expand their HR experience while being supported by an experienced HR Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
- Induction Coordination: Organize and manage induction programs for new employees to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Employee Relations: Handle first-line employee relation queries, offering sound advice and guidance on company policies and procedures.
- Policy Advice: Provide employees with accurate policy information and guidance.
- Employee Engagement: Plan and coordinate activities aimed at enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Meeting Support: Attend and take minutes during employee relation meetings to ensure accurate records are maintained.

Candidate Requirements:
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Employee Relations Experience: Some exposure or experience in managing employee relation casework.
- Pressure Management: Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Desirable Qualification: CIPD qualification is advantageous but not essential.
