Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a teacher of Design Technology looking for a new middle leadership role in Oldham from January 2025?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an enthusiastic and committed Design Technology teacher to join a secondary academy in Oldham as Key Stage 3 Lead Teacher

This is a full-time teaching role from January 2025. The school would consider a December start to secure the right candidate.

The Role

Teacher of Design Technology - Food and Nutrition, Computer Aided Design, Product design technology.

Key stage three Curriculum lead for the Technology Department

Supporting the head of design technology

Confident, focussed and passionate about Technology

Outstanding subject knowledge with an ability to share this with students and colleagues in an exciting and academically rigorous way

As a Technology Teacher, experience of teaching practical technology lessons, making use of the technology department's equipment and resources.

The school are interested in hearing from teachers with QTS or QTLS. As a lead teacher role, the job is not suitable for an Early Career teacher.

To join us and be successful in this Lead teacher of Design Technology role, you will need to:

Hold QTS Status or QTLS

Significant experience as a technology teacher in a UK secondary school

This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks

Provide a CV with full employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained

Have the legal right to work in the UK
