ROLE – Assembly Technician
LOCATION – Ashford, Kent
TERM - Permanent
SALARY- £25,000 to £30,0000 per annum
My client is a supplier of engineering equipment. They are looking to take on an Assembly Technician to work on assembly and testing. This is a permanent position, based in Ashford, Kent.
The Assembly Technician will ideally have the following attributes:
- Enjoys assembly
- Keen interest in Mechanical and Electrical work
- A background in Manufacture would be beneficial
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Team player
- Eager to train and develop their career in Engineering/Manufacture
The Assembly Technician role will involve
:
- Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical assembly of a variety of products and equipment
- Working to procedures and instructions
- Creating sub-assemblies, looms and cables
- Testing and fault-finding
- Repair and calibration
- Communicating with different departments to resolve technical issues
