People Partner

Goodman Masson are proud to be partnering on an exclusive basis with one of our partners who are a world-famous Performative Arts Organisation and are currently in the process of opening a new venue in the East of London. They are looking for a People Partner on a 12-month minimum FTC maternity cover (may be extended). In this role you will be reporting People Manager and working in tandem with another People Partner. The primary responsibilities of this role will be:

  • Partner with departments to support their needs, address risks and enable a solution focused approach
  • Advise on and resolve investigation, grievance, disciplinary and complaints in a confidential and timely manner
  • Collaborate on talent acquisition to support recruitment activity, including employer branding initiatives
  • Manage the implementation and integration of processes and systems, ensuring data accuracy and usability
  • Manage the planning, execution, and completion of HR projects to ensure they are delivered on time within scope and budget
  • Carry out employee relations activity within legislation and applying best practice
  • Assist in the development, review, and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance, alignment with company values and proactive best practice

The successful candidate will have:

  • Level 5 CIPD qualification or equal experience (or working towards a CIPD Level 5 as a minimum)
  • Demonstrable experience of confidently working in a HR advisory capacity
  • Strong experience in on-boarding practices
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of employment law, HR processes, policies, and best practices
  • Experience in using HR information systems such as People XD
  • An ability to create reports and clearly present information

Desirable candidates will also be from the London area as the HQ is in Angel. Candidates will also have experience in working for a charitable organisation, ideally within the Performative Arts sector.

The salary is for this 12-month FTC is £39,273 per Annam based on a 35-hour week.
