I am delighted to be recruiting for a PR, Events and Sponsorship Coordinator to play a pivotal role in my client's multi-channel marketing and communication campaigns. This all-encompassing role focuses on PR, events, and sponsorships, and involves working closely with the Marketing and Communications Manager to create campaigns that are engaging, educational, and revenue-generating in alignment with their business objectives.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Support and deliver marketing campaigns including budget and monthly performance analysis across all areas of ownership aligning with the brand and company communications strategy
  • Assist the Marketing and Communications Manager with campaign delivery, deadlines, budgets and strategic marketing planning
  • Work with agencies, contractors and the wider business stakeholders to; generate blogs, news articles, award submissions etc which target key media titles. Whilst staying up to date with daily news, online sources and competitor activity to identify hot topics
  • Support with the management of content and updates on their website
  • Responsible for the smooth running of the workstreams for campaigns within this area such as accurate setting of copy design online, ensuring all campaigns are aligned and integrated across channels. Whilst continuously looking to develop and trial new ideas to leverage their brand, PR and marketing opportunities
  • Lead the delivery/planning of external events in a timely fashion, professionally and within budget
  • Assist in building, managing and strengthening the company brand by interpreting brand guidelines to write engaging copy and give creative direction
  • Identify, manage and deliver opportunities, with their sponsors to leverage their position within the sector in line with the company core objectives
  • Assist and support with any additional marketing activities outside of PR responsibilities

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree-level education.
  • 3+ years of experience in public relations and events.
  • Experience in the private healthcare sector is beneficial.
  • Proven ability to support, create, and develop news and features for campaigns and events.
  • Experience with pitching to journalists and securing press coverage.
  • Competency in software packages such as Office 365, Mailchimp, Analytics, WordPress, Salesforce.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised with excellent planning and copywriting skills.
  • Creative, with the ability to interpret brand guidelines.
  • Good project management skills and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
