What you'll be doing:

An exciting opportunity to join our Operations team. As a Application Product Manager you will drive and create the vision and strategy for the Product, maintain the Product road map and manage the backlog of change. You will act as the business expert on the product, contributing to the development of new software features and functionality, ensuring Product standards and behaviour are maintained through change. You will liaise with multiple internal stakeholders across the business e.g developers, testers, Development Squad Lead, and business stakeholders, to deliver software improvements efficiently. You will always be seeking to improve delivery processes and standards. Your knowledge of the Product and Customer, combined with your experience of delivering change through a full development life cycle will make you ideally placed to drive forward Product change to help deliver our Peoples Partnership strategy.

  • Provide product vision and direction to the business, project teams and the agile development team
  • Plan and prioritise the product backlog in accordance with agreed business priorities and the change portfolio
  • Work with stakeholders to assess business value and effort, to ensure the cost benefit of software can be justified and is aligned with the product strategy
  • Report to governance bodies on Product and recent changes
  • Use research and insights to create and maintain the road map, so that decisions are data driven and based on customer feedback.

  • Agile frameworks (SCRUM, Kanban or DSDM)
  • Software Development Life cycle
  • Change Delivery
  • Stakeholder management at all levels
