Salary: £280 per day (Umbrella)

Myn is recruiting on behalf of our long-term partner for an SEN Planning Review Officer to join their team in Ferndown. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), ensuring their Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) are effectively managed and tailored to their needs.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the completion of EHCPs and other SEND processes, ensuring the voices of children and their families are central to every decision.
  • Attend multi-agency meetings to provide your expertise on how best to support each child in achieving positive outcomes.
  • Participate in the SEND Tribunal process and support families with appeal mechanisms when required.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of your work with children and families, reviewing their progress regularly.
  • Collaborate within a multi-agency team, working closely with other professionals to ensure coordinated service delivery.
  • Organise and prioritise tasks effectively, working within tight budgets and ensuring deadlines are met.

What We're Looking For:

  • A relevant professional qualification, with GCSE English and Maths (grade C or above) as a minimum, alongside post-qualification training and experience.
  • Strong experience in the SEN field and a clear understanding of statutory SEND processes.
  • Familiarity with Local Authority procedures or experience in a complex organisational setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to create clear reports on children's progress and needs.
  • Proficiency in administration, data compilation, and using data to enhance service performance.
  • A collaborative team player who embraces the ‘one team' approach and shares knowledge across SEND disciplines.
  • A valid UK driving licence for travel as required.
