Teaching Assistant | Birmingham, B8 | £90 - £105 per day | September 2024 start
LTF Recruitment is searching for an experienced, calm and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our esteemed partner primary school located within the Saltley area. This rewarding role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in the classroom, helping to create and maintain a positive and productive learning environment alongside the teacher. The school is looking for the right candidate to join them on a long-term basis, and for the right candidate there is an opportunity to make this role permanent.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the learning and development of children in a focused classroom setting.
- Assisting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within the classroom environment.
- Leading small group intervention sessions and providing phonics support.
- Ensuring that every child has the opportunity to achieve their full potential in a caring and secure environment.
What we are looking for:
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualified and/or a minimum of 12 months' experience in an educational establishment.
- Experience supporting children with SEN.
- Experience working with students both individually and in small groups, including leading intervention sessions to enhance their learning.
- Familiarity with the UK primary curriculum.
