This Junior Purchase Ledger Clerk role is initially a 12 month FTC with the option to be taken on a permanent at the end of the contract. This role will involve dealing with invoices and ensuring payments have been processed correctly.

Client Details

Our client is a large family run FMCG business in Bedford who are looking for a progressive junior purchase ledger clerk to join their team.

Description

Junior purchase ledger clerk will:

  • Manage and process all payments accurately and timely.
  • Maintain financial records and ensure data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve department goals.
  • Maintain strict compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Resolve any payment discrepancies or issues.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
  • Support other tasks as directed by the management team within the Accounting & Finance department.

Profile

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office.
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of payment processes and financial regulations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
