Temporary Receptionist (Milton Keynes)
We are supporting our global client in finding a Temporary Receptionist for their Milton Keynes site for a minimum of six months.
Location: Onsite
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £16.41 per hour
Start date - 18th November 2024
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the organisation's first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring professional communication.
- Receive and direct calls in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Welcome visitors, maintain proper sign-in documentation, and follow safety procedures.
- Handle all incoming and outgoing mail requirements, including courier services, and manage the maintenance of the postage machine as needed.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and book conference rooms.
- Order lunch for employees and visitors as required.
- Manage the office supplies stockroom, place orders, and maintain effective administration.
- Contact vendors and suppliers as needed to communicate plant/site shutdowns and other disruptions in service.
- Maintain badges for new hires, contractors, and visitors.
- Support administrative projects as assigned.
- Provide other administrative support activities as needed.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Act as the Site Emergency Response Coordinator.
- Ensure training is up-to-date for first aiders and fire marshals.
- Manage the pool car booking system and ensure regular checks are carried out.
Candidate Specification:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Customer focus, with the ability to build strong relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a reception or administration-based role.
