A brand-new SEN school is opening in Maidstone and they are currently seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to join the school on a full time and permanent basis. As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will be expected to support students on a one-to-one basis and to work closely with the class teacher in order to provide the best support possible. Other duties will include supporting students in small groups and managing behaviour in and out of the classroom.
The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will be working from Monday to Friday during term time and the ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will need to have previous experience in a similar environment so that they can smoothly transition in to the role. The role will be starting in September when the school will be opening its doors to students for the first time.
