The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic Head of Operations to lead all operational functions across warehousing, distribution, fleet, and compliance. Reporting to the Directors, you will manage a team of 77 and play a key role in embedding operational efficiencies, developing leadership capability, and supporting strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team across warehousing, distribution, fleet, and night operations
  • Drive operational excellence through robust KPIs and continuous improvement
  • Champion Health & Safety and ensure full compliance across all operations
  • Build a high performing, motivated team culture
  • Embed best practices across all operational processes
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team to align operations with strategic goals
  • Support the integration of Power BI dashboards and data led decision making
  • Conduct a full operational team review and restructure where necessary

Candidate Profile

We're looking for an experienced operational leader who brings:

  • Proven success in leading multi functional teams in logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing
  • A track record of building high performing teams and driving performance through KPIs
  • Strong mentoring and coaching skills with a naturally engaging leadership style
  • Confidence in leading through change and challenging the status quo
  • Proficiency in using data and dashboards (e.g. Power BI) to inform decisions
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to align operations with business goals
  • A commitment to compliance, safety, and operational excellence
  • The ability to engage both long-tenured and newly hired staff
