Role - Junior Finance Analyst

Salay - £35-£40k

Location - Newmarket

Our successful client is going through a sustained period of growth and due to this are looking to Recruit a Junior Finance Analyst. The aspiring candidate will report directing into an experience Senior Analyst and look to add value by analysing products and looking at profitability. This role will be well suited to candidates that are looking to progress their careers by getting exposure to a commercial role.

As a Financial Analyst, your responsibilities will include financial planning, analysing financial data, preparing and interpreting financial statements, and reporting on financial performance. Your contributions will be crucial in supporting financial decision-making and ensuring the company's overall financial well-being.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Create new and existing weekly reporting suites for the business.
  • Generate monthly management accounts and collaborate with the FP&A Manager to enhance them.
  • Provide valuable support and analysis to assist in financial decision-making.
  • Regularly analyze sales, margins, and costs, offering actionable insights.
  • Effectively interpret and communicate financial data to the business.
  • Enhance visibility into production efficiency and identify key drivers affecting profit.
  • Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts.

We're seeking candidates with 2-3 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, and related accounting systems. Ideally, this experience should be within a manufacturing organization. Key qualifications include:

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization and business intelligence tools.
  • Proficiency in financial statements and reporting.
  • Knowledge of finance principles and practices.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
