CMA Recruitment Group is currently looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant on behalf of a well-established business based in Southampton, Hampshire, on a contract basis. This assignment will last c6-12 months to cover absence within a business, however due to the growing nature of the business there is a strong possibility of an extension of the assignment.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and ambitious individual that will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in a thriving commercial environment.
What will the Assistant Accountant role involve?
- Handling Purchase Ledger transactions;
- Supplier payments and queries;
- Bank reconciliations;
- Preparing for month-end process.
Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Accountant vacancy:
- End-to-end purchase ledger experience (preferred but not essential);
- Available to work in a small finance team and occasionally in a standalone capacity;
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy;
- CIMA / ACCA/ AAT qualified or part-qualified.
