  • Location: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal at a top UK law firm. This role offers a clear path for progression, including the potential for SQE route sign-off for qualifying work experience. The successful candidate will initially focus on post-completion matters with the opportunity to expand into more drafting responsibilities.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Managing post-completion matters efficiently and accurately.
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction completions.
  • Preparing and submitting Land Registry applications and SDLT returns.
  • Maintaining and organising files, ensuring all documentation is up to date.
  • Assisting with the drafting of commercial property documents as experience grows.
  • Conducting legal research and providing support on various real estate transactions.
  • Collaborating with senior team members to gain exposure to more complex legal work.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a paralegal, ideally within commercial real estate.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive approach to expanding your legal expertise.
  • Familiarity with Land Registry procedures and SDLT returns.
  • A law degree or equivalent legal qualifications.
