Air Conditioning Engineer

As a Mobile A/C Engineer you will be responsible for a portfolio of sites covering commercial, critical, data centres and banking environments, across South East London. Knowledge should cover a wide range of Air Conditioning / HVAC systems with at least 3+ years experience in the service and maintenance sector.

F-Gas Cat 1 and an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, in air conditioning and refrigeration is required.

Duties

  • To deliver planned, preventative and reactive maintenance in line with the contract service delivery plan for Commercial HVAC equipment
  • Carry out A/C works including minor projects & refurbishment
  • Fault Find, investigate, troubleshoot and rectify defects in all A/C units & systems and any associated plant / components
  • Single / Multi splits, VAVs, VRVs, VRFs, Close Control, DX Units, CRAC units
  • Replacing compressors, condensers, regassing, brazing, soldering etc
  • Dealing with subcontractors where necessary
  • Ensure all statutory documentation is completed and kept up to date at all times

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
  • Van and fuel card
  • Overtime
  • 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays

Requirements

  • Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
  • 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas)
  • 3+ years' experience carrying out service and repair of various types of AC units, within commercial sites.
  • Full Driving Licence
  • Based within commutable distance of South East London
