An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious FP&A Analyst to join a growing global business located in the Manchester offices! The business is embarking on an exciting phase of growth and transformation, presenting a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience and exposure by working with senior stakeholders across the company. This is working for an Advertising and PR business.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Cost Reporting: Take proactive ownership of cost reporting across multiple areas.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Prepare monthly forecasts and annual budgets for these departments.
  • Month-End Processes: Manage the review processes for accruals and prepayments during month-end.
  • Reporting: Contribute to the preparation of month-end reports for key UK stakeholders and create management packs that deliver a clear, reliable view of costs across relevant departments.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders offering support to facilitate informed business decisions.
  • Project Appraisal: Provide quick, informed, and independent assessments to management for potential business projects.
  • Analytical Support: Offer value-added analysis to operational business decisions by modeling financial and non-financial outcomes and providing advice accordingly.
  • External Reporting: Take ownership of the reporting process to external bodies.

What You'll Bring as an FP&A Analyst:

  • Analytical Skills: The ability to produce accurate and insightful analysis under time constraints is crucial. You'll bring:
  • Accounting Qualifications: Part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with a few exams remaining.
  • Financial Literacy: Strong numerical skills with proficiency in Excel and other business analysis tools.
  • Time Management: The ability to manage a busy workload effectively in a time-pressured environment.
  • Teamwork: Strong team player with the ability to support colleagues as needed.
  • Communication: Confidence in interpersonal skills and the ability to provide timely updates.
  • Relevant Experience: Ideally, experience in a similar financial analyst role.
