About the Role:

Hyperion Partners is thrilled to be working on behalf of a prestigious Build to Rent operator in London, seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Property Manager to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual to step into a role where they can make a real impact in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

As the Assistant Property Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of a residential property portfolio. You will assist in providing high-quality service to residents, ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of property management, including maintenance, resident relations, and financial management. You will work closely with the Property Manager to deliver a best-in-class living experience for all residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the management of a portfolio of Build to Rent properties across London.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to residents, addressing their enquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinating and overseeing property maintenance and repairs, ensuring all issues are resolved promptly and to the highest standard.
  • Supporting the Property Manager in financial management tasks, including rent collection and budget monitoring.
  • Conducting regular inspections of properties to ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company policies.
  • Assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Collaborating with the leasing team to support the lettings process, including conducting viewings and processing applications.
  • Building strong relationships with residents, contractors, and suppliers to maintain a positive community atmosphere.

About You:

The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and possess excellent communication skills. You will have a passion for property management and be eager to contribute to the success of our client's portfolio. Previous experience in a similar role within the residential property sector is highly desirable, preferably within the Build to Rent or private rented sector.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in property management, facilities management, or a related field.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • A team player with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., ARLA, IRPM) are advantageous but not essential.
