1:1 Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Are you passionate about making a difference in a student's life? Integra Education is seeking a dynamic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work one-on-one with a secondary-aged pupil in Leeds. This unique opportunity involves supporting the pupil's educational journey within their home environment, as part of an EOTAS (Educated Other Than at School) package.

Role Details:

  • Hybrid Working: Split your time between the family home in Leeds and the office in the Shipley area.
  • Flexible Hours: This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday. However, we welcome applications for part-time candidates interested in a job share

_Requirements: _

  • Previous experience supporting pupils with additional needs on a 1:1 basis in an educational setting.
  • Experience working with pupils with high levels of anxiety and panic attacks
  • Previous experience of note taking and report writing, evidencing pupils educational attainment.
  • Driving Licence and the ability to travel as and when the job requires is essential
  • HLTA qualification and/or Teaching Qualification - required
  • Understanding of how to manage, read and understand SALT, OT, MH reports
  • Curriculum Knowledge**:** Strong understanding of the GCSE and A-Level curriculum.
  • NCFE and/or Portfolio knowladge
