Your new company
You will be working for a growing business in Southampton who are seeking a Purchase Ledger Specialist to join their finance function.
Your new role
- Processing approximately 30 invoices per day, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
- Process and verify invoices, matching them to purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Conduct regular reconciliations and promptly resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate supplier records, including address changes, bank details, and credit limits.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth invoice processing.
- Assist with month-end closing and reporting activities.
What you'll need to succeed
- You will need full right-to-work in the UK, with prior experience working with in a UK finance role.
- Familiarity with VAT regulations related to the purchase ledger
- Attention to detail
What you'll get in return
- You will earn a competitive salary of between £26,000 and £32,000 per annum depending on experience.
