Science Solutions Recruitment are looking to recruit an Analytical Services Manager for one of our clients based in the Northwest Lancashire region. This role is essentially a QC Manager position.
To be considered for the position of Analytical Services Manager you must have previous experience in managing a QC team.
As an Analytical Services Manager you will be responsible for managing 7 direct reports within the QC laboratory whilst adhering to ISO9001, 14001 and 17025 standards.
Role requirements
- Degree educated in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science or a similar field.
- Previous experience of managing in a QC environment is essential.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of ISO9001, 14001 & 17025 standards.
- Experience of techniques for monomer analysis and polymer evaluation.
Role responsibilities
- Lead a team of up to 7 QC analysts on a daily basis.
- Accurately analyse numerical data, verbal data and all other sources of information.
- Apply your technical expertise to assist in the development of job knowledge and continual professional development within the team.
- Liaising with the Lab Manager on a daily basis in order to ensure that KPIs to commercial/supply chain are maintained and kept on track.
