An opportunity has arisen for a Legal Cashier to join the team on a full**-**time or part-time basis. The successful candidate will work closely with both in-house staff and outsourced cashiering support, ensuring a well-supported and efficient finance function.

Key Responsibilities:
- Opening and closing client account files
- Maintaining accurate financial records in line with regulatory requirements
- Inputting financial data and processing transactions
- Monthly reconciliations and month-end checks
- Preparing quarterly and annual VAT returns
- Managing banking, payments, and petty cash
- Invoicing and credit control
- Liaising with fee earners and support staff as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Legal Cashier within a Scottish law firm is essential
- Strong understanding of Scottish Solicitors' Accounts Rules
- Proficiency with legal accounting software and general IT systems
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
