IT Manager - Manchester
As IT Manager, you'll oversee and maintain the corporate IT infrastructure, focusing on end-user hardware and software requirements for our office and remote employees. Based at our client's newly designed head office, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, and integrity of all IT systems, including both SaaS and legacy on-premise solutions. We're seeking a skilled IT professional combining technical expertise with strong problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on technical support for IT systems, services, and hardware.
- Administer network and infrastructure within the office, ensuring smooth operations.
- Maintain relationships with IT, telephony, and networking vendors to guarantee all services meet our needs.
- Manage IT systems projects aimed at enhancing and modernising the workplace environment.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and engineering teams to deliver a seamless user experience through cloud-first solutions.
- Lead employee IT onboarding sessions, ensuring that new hires are equipped to start effectively.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong experience in modern deployment tools, especially Microsoft Autopilot, Intune, and Teams Room management.
- Advanced skills in troubleshooting Windows and MacOS devices.
- Proficiency in supporting end users, both in-person and remotely.
- Experience managing user access to critical business applications through Entra and Microsoft 365.
- At least 3 years of experience in a desktop support or IT support engineering role.
- Experience with ServiceNow (advantageous but not required).
