HR Services Manager Fixed Term

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our People team as HR Services Manager, on a fixed term basis for 18 months. Based from our office in Basingstoke, you'll share your time between the office and home to ensure a positive work / life balance.

The Role

Reporting into the Senior HR Business Partner, you'll manage a team of HR Coordinators and will be responsible for the effective delivery of first line HR advice, HR administration and full lifecycle process management. You'll also lead the team through the implementation and installation of a new ERP system and other changes as part of integration activity following our recent merger. Main responsibilities include:

  • Managing the provision of day to day operational and transactional HR query handling to ensure successful completion within reasonable timeframes
  • Managing the provision of volume routine lifecycle HR administration to the business providing accurate, efficient and consistent support within agreed SLA's
  • Managing data cleansing processes to ensure accuracy of data prior to transfer to a new ERP system
  • Acting as a SME to support the installation of the new ERP system, ensuring the realisation of organisational benefits through implementation
  • Reviewing and redesigning administrative processes as a result of the new system, ensuring all processes meet compliance and business needs and are clear and well communicated
  • Developing a culture of continuous improvement across the HR Services team ensuring we provide high quality, timely, and customer focussed transactional HR processes
  • Managing relevant suppliers to ensure regulatory and organisational compliance as well as efficiency and value for money in any service provision

What we're looking for

You should have a background in HR with a strong understanding of HR administrative processes and relevant compliance within a shared service model. You should have previous experience in managing the successful implementation of ERP or HR systems. You'll also need:

  • Experience of reviewing, redesigning, and implementing high volume transactional HR processes resulting in efficiencies and improvements
  • People management experience
  • Ability to manage stakeholders to deliver to project timelines
  • Strong organisation and coordination skills with a systematic approach
  • A high attention to detail with a pragmatic solution focussed approach to problem solving
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR information systems
