About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in West London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in claims and change management, particularly in situations where disputes with clients are likely. This role involves submitting and resolving contract claims, including loss & expenses, extensions of time (EoT), and variations (VOs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and prepare claims and change management processes.
- Handle client disputes effectively and professionally.
- Submit and resolve contract claims such as loss & expenses, EoT, and VOs.
- Provide detailed analysis and reports on claims and changes.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely claim submissions.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all claims and changes.
- Advise on contractual matters and ensure compliance with contract terms.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a focus on claims and change management.
- Strong understanding of contract law and construction contracts.
- Excellent negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
