Connaught Education is working in partnership with one of the foremost independent senior and sixth form schools in London to appoint a Business Studies and Economics Teacher on a permanent basis as of September 2024.
The organisation in question is a prestigious and highly successful coeducational day and boarding school which throughout its' rich history has been the recipient of multiple awards. Situated in the heart of London this is a diverse, international school with pupils from across the world, it is part of a group of three high calibre independent colleges across the UK.
The Business Studies and Economics department is a successful one, it has academic rigour and its results at both Key Stage 4 and 5 are year on year amongst the best in the country. The appointed Business Studies and Economics Teacher will have some of the following responsibilities:
- Delivering high quality lessons.
- Facilitating the college's goal of high student academic achievement.
- Informing parents about student progress.
- Engaging in the college's pastoral care for all students in the college.
- Engaging in appraisals and reviews and taking part in training and development.
The successful Business Studies and Economics Teacher will have a good degree in a relevant subject area and ideally QTS as well as a demonstrable track record of excellent exam results.
