About the Job:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Financial Controller to join a dynamic finance team. The role involves overseeing financial control operations to ensure accurate reporting and support strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders to drive financial performance and maintain robust financial controls.

Duties will include:

  • Overseeing monthly profit and loss reporting and analysis.
  • Preparing presentations for financial reporting periods.
  • Managing the balance sheet and clearing legacy balances.
  • Leading the annual budget cycle and forecasting processes.
  • Managing a team of direct reports in the finance team.
  • Embedding productivity KPIs and driving continuous improvements.
  • Publishing regular reporting metrics.
  • Implementing and documenting financial processes and procedures.
  • Leading change initiatives, including Power BI dashboard implementation.
  • Preparing for and delivering annual audits and statutory accounts.
  • Managing stakeholder relations.

About the Successful Applicant:

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with extensive experience in financial reporting, governance, and control. They will have a strong background in managing and leading finance teams, and proficiency in SAP is essential. Experience with IFRS 16, change management, and audits is required, along with excellent communication and leadership skills.
